Dying On The Vine by Marla Cooper
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Source: Great Escapes
Organising a wedding is not easy, Kelsey has to do it in just 4 weeks while she is investigating too a murder where she is the main suspect... So be prepared to laugh and bite your nails while the guests start arriving to the wedding, and the killer has yet to be found!
"I reiterated my condolences and retreated toward the back of the house. I couldn't make Stefan like me, but at least I could avoid him for the next little bit, and with any luck, it would be a long, long time before I bumped into him again.
That was the plan, anyway."
I should have known that in all the business there's competitiveness, but if the world of the wedding planners is as half of this book shows, OMG, this is a world I don't want to be involved! Do you think your work is worth a killing? Because I prefer freedom without a job, than spend my life in prison!
This is a refreshing read, to disconnect and enjoy a good time while the wedding of your dreams is prepared and guessing who could be the killer.
I liked how the three main characters were approachable, funny and with a strong friendship between them, there's no killer bad enough to make their bond to brake! But you have to admit they don't have the luck on their side, finding a murder and being investigated is not something you put on your CV when you search for a job!
Do you have a wedding in the next few weeks? Be careful!
