About The Book

The year is 1982; the setting, an Edenic hamlet some ninety miles north of New York City. There, among the craggy rock cliffs and glacial ponds of timeworn mountains, three friends—Patrick, Matthew, and Hannah—are bound together by a terrible and seemingly senseless crime. Twenty-six years later, in New York City, living lives their younger selves never could have predicted, the three meet again—with even more devastating results.

My Thoughts
In this mysterious story we will know what happened a long time ago, but what we don't know is the reason of why it happened... Ready for a turn back story?
This is the story of Hannah, Patrick and Matthew; their past was linked and now they have a normal life, together... But now the truth has to come out, are they ready?
Even if the story is told between the past, 1982, and the present, 1998, it was a little difficult in the beginning following the story, mainly because of something that happened to Hannah and Patrick... But now they are happily married, so it was quite strange in the beginning and I didn't understand what was happening! Of course the answers arrived while I was reading the book, but firstly I thought they were two different Hannah's...
The book is interesting, but sometimes it was like there was too much detail in things that were not so important on the main plot, like all the cooking Patrick was doing on his blog... Or the details on some situations that were a little vicious...
This is a slow paced thriller with love, family, friendship and betrayal; with a few questions that will keep you reading till the last page. Ready?
